Team 13DX014 Wolf, 13DX056 Uli, 13DX083 Dieter(Mr.Beam) Saturday 4 june 9 am we arrival Görmitz Island and set up the antenna(Starbeam made by Mr.Beam) on a very nice place 2 meter from water in the small port area (check HAM webpages from O-015) and the ICOM 706 MK II . We made same tests with 161SD/EU129 He stand near to the german border on the polish side in Polish calling “Uznam” Island and in german lanq. “Usedom”.Thx Darek102 and Luk051. Thanks for the invitation, we are sad, which was not possible to visit you.:-( maybe next year friends :). 10 am visited us the representative of the owner, because it lives on the island, with his impressive dog (Dover man) it controlled permission the island to enter.You must understand, the island is private property, it leads a narrow dam to the island, which with the passenger car will drive on may. We active from around 10:00 UTC the propagation was very strong, first big pile up on 11:00 UTC all signal 9 and over later 16;00 UTC propacation go down . 20:00 UTC we close the log . 136 station 26 div. logged ……8 callsigns double logged. Sunday 5 june we started around 9:00 UTC and until 18:30 UTC we only logged 16 stations – the propagation was not good, so we decided to close the log and 13DX/O-015 activation was qrt, 16 station logged we go back to our base camp on Usedom Island and will open 13DX/O-013 to the end of Island festival dead line. We stand up the Moxon antenna once again and ICOM 706 MK II , it was absolute poor propacation and 1 hour later we had a strong Thunderstorm. We made the antenna down and our activity was ending. After everything which we know now, about the island, think we, it so fast none activierung to the island on 11 meters will give. We are pleased to have permission , and many stations for giving possibility of working the island. Monday 6. June at 9 o'clock we left the camping place our island trip was to the end.
