CHANTEMILLE islands story : In first i thought about 2 islands but when arrived on area ( after some difficult to find good way … fortunatly found nice farmer who help me to go with my car just next river and islands. He will not lonely nice people meet this day …). Quickly ready for land first target 23017R island #1 I see 1, 2, 3 !!! and 4 islands !!!!!! Also am attempt by a virus to do all island in the morning, finally I prefer pass a bit more on each and do 3 in the morning and 1 in afternoon. I spend 1 hour on CHANTEMILLE #1, #2, #3, its midday now I must leave now and I will back in afternoon. When back after lunch I realize water level going a bit up … I cross river to target #4, quickly ready to give 1st call, if good enough conditions I will turn again to other islands .. but prop is down… and level is up … A curious old fisher come to see what happened with this guy on island … I explained and he was really interest and ask me to come at his home for drink white wine …. His name is Albert, he’s 76 years old, he live since 50 years near castle of CHANTEMILLE and know very well this river and islands, he explain me water level will down soon, when small dam will be close. After1 hour and ˝ bottle of very fine white wine I return to island. I promised to Albert when I will back to islands I will visit him again. He promised to come with me on islands. Finally prop is back and I can stay a bit more on island. Es is good and I have also North and West France very strong. I prefer to stay on this one.. A bit tired by all move between island with car batteries, radio equipment …. For next “iWi show” I will try to do during a weekend. 73s all from iWi man 14DX181 return
