Story 161DX/F003 Jantar island Story from 161DX/F003 activity. 8th of June, last day of our presence on seaside and the only right decision to activate by the way ( much longer ) another island. Day earlier we were surprised that nobody discovered this island, this is the reason that late evening on 7th DX018 done update to island data base ( thanks Didi & Jan for support ). Around 7:00 GMT our team was ready to start trip via F003 and F027 to home. After arriving to the end of the road we waited 20 minutes for ferry. Very cheap ticket: 2 Euros, and after next 20 minutes we were on F003 Jantar island. During trip on ferry Slawek made 1SA/SR010 with 5/3 report from mobile – another new one for him. Good and proper place for activation we found after 5 minutes and after next 15 minutes first call and 5/7 signal from Darran. It was good moment for activity, after 1h45 minutes 80 stations logged in. lake was nice but unfortunately, next island was our target.
