Story 161DX/P002 Story from 161DX/P002 activity. P002 Kepa Dzikowska island in Ciechocinek city. Ciechocinek is a spa town in Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland, located on the Vistula River. Ciechocinek is known for its unique 'saline graduation towers'. Experts considered the local saline springs to be of extreme value and named the thermal spring no. 14 "a wonder of nature". The therapeutics qualities of Ciechocinek springs are directed toward curing cardiovascular, respiratory, orthopedic, traumatic, rheumatic, nervous system and women diseases. This unique place was achieved after 40 minutes and we were stopped by barrier. We were prepared for unloading cars in this place but thanks Greg’s negotiations we have got acceptance from local farmer for going in and spending 3 hours on P002 Kepa Dzikowska island. First logged station was 161EX168 Ken who is living not so far from this island, the second one good known IOTA & IWI hunter 161EX015 Jurek. After 3 hours similar q’ty as on previous island stations was logged. As you can see on pictures WX was perfect- little hot but much better than rain.
