Story 161DX/P022 Story from 161DX/P022 activity held during July 2009. Hi iwi hunters, Due the reason of Greg’s absence (during his trip in 304 div.) our team consisted only of 2 people. 161DX016 Mac and 161DX018 and Slawek. Our target for last Saturday was P-022 Pakosc #1 and P-023 Pakosc #2, both iwi’s located on Notec river. Our trip started as always in Bydgoszcz city and after 45 minutes P-023 was achieved. Because it was first island on our way we decided to start activation from this island. At the beginning propagation was very poor - 1st station was logged at 8:00 GMT. After 2 hours, more than 60 stations were logged, and we decided to change location – P-022 our next target. Quick de ass’y of whole equipment, loading into cars and short (500m) trip to another location. After 40 minutes we were ready and we started 161DX/P022 with Darran 26DX047 as 1st logged station. We had occasion to work 15 minutes in very tense pile up. After 1,5 hours almost 60 stations logged and we decided to finish activation – good moment because few minutes later was strong rain.
