Welcome to the informationpage of 213DX/2 Market Reef. This page is mainly made to offer all friends log-search, and general information.
Activity schedule: 26/08/2006 - 27/08/2006: 213DX/2 Market Reef. Equipment used: - radio 1: Yaesu FT897 - radio 2: Yaesu FT897 - antenna 1: 1 element Loop "Bamby" - antenna 2: 3 element G4ZU Bird Yagi "Skypper" - power : 100Watt - logsystem: "in the log" Log: Click here to make logsearch. 179 stations in 213DX/2 log. Pictures / Video (also proof): Click here to see pics and videoclip from the activity. QSL design: Click here to See the 213DX/2 QSL design. Why "DX/2" and not "DX/0" or "DX/1" ??: We use - "DX/0" ONLY for the first activation ever at 11-meter. Therefore we can not use "DX/0" from 213. - "DX/1" ONLY for the FIRST DXRC activation from this DXCC. We did use 213DX/1 at our first activation from 213 during summer 2005. - "DX/2" ONLY for the 2nd activation from this DXCC. This is the trip during August 2006... - "DX/3" ONLY for the 3rd activation from this DXCC... We use this system up to DX/9. After DX/9 we believe that this DXCC is no more interesting to work and we do not use activation-callsign (...DX/x). Then we use only portable callsign (example: 213/47DX088) Internet access: There is approx. 35 km (?) from Market Reef to Sweden. Normally there is GSM-access (and therefore also internet access) from the island. From time to time we must be in the exact correct position to have access to the swedish antennas at shore. We bring a PC and can access internet during 213DX/2. eQSL: DXRC offer you an eQSL which is an email confirming your QSO. If you are in the log of this activation we can send to you an eQSL. This can normally be done 1-2 days after the activation has ended. The eQSL is a simple Email confirming the QSO. Attention; For security reasons you and others can always check your log entry via DXRC log search. To obtain the eQSL, please request your eQSL via our activity selection page (click at "click here" in the right row named "Request eQSL"). Go to activity selection page - click here. When you receive the eQSL, there will be a picture attached to the email you receive. To see the picture - click here. Back. |
