Story 328/47DX002 Story from 328/47DX002 activity. This years summer holliday went to Croatia. The family and I chose this country out of several reasons: We had never been in Croatia before, last year we meet some Dutch people, that recommended Croatia to us - and prices should be slightly lower than in France and Italy. Since we like to be "free as birds" we would not go to Croatia if weather was not great. Then France probably would be the destination instead. So we packed the car and left for South - and sice weather forecasts for Croatia was fine, I ended up as 328/47DX002. During our hollidays we ended up at 2 different campsites at the peninsula Istria. Both sites was next to the water. Site one was from August 10rd to August 17th. This campsite was close to Rovinj. I managed to log 139 stations from this site. Site two was from August 17th to the 25th and here I only logged 6 stations. This site was close to Porec. As this was a family holliday and not an activation, I was only on radio on irregular times. I never succeded activationg any islands, however we plan to go again next year. Here I hope I can bring a small boat in order to reach some of the many nearby islands. Thanks to all who worked me, See you again next year. 73 de Soren return
