Story 328/47DX162 Story from 328/47DX162 activity. First of all i want to thank all stations who worked me from my holiday in Podgora in the Markanska Riverra just 50meter from the Sea. My wife, our 3 kids and my parent in law did the trip to Croatia by Aircraft from Kastrup ( Copenhagen Airport) to SPLIT / Croatia and after 2 hour in Bus we arrived in Podgora. Day 1: Our hotel had 3 levels, our room was on second floor with at view to the Mountain. From my last trip to Asia in 2009, I took the same setup up with me, this time my new Super Cmos 3 keyer for CW. First day on radio ( 28-06-2010) I started on 27.500 CW for getting in real form…. after call & call but no answer in this mode, I moved to SSB and made 29 Q´s, my first Q´s was with 14SD/ENG on 27530 and the with MR. Darran 26DX047 on 27.545 with stable signal FB!!! Day 2: 16 Q´s in log and later in afternoon 3 X 47 (Denmark) stations in Log!!, 4 liters of cold beer and nice Pizza slice, The Croatian guys can make Pizza ( read 47DX002 story about Pizza!!! ) and swimming in the sea and spending quailty time with the kids was great. Day 3: only 3 Q´s in log 2 X 16 div. and 1 X 14 div. No probergation only NOISE!!! Much more beer on the Balcony and Cartoon in Tv … What a Day!!! Day 4: On 27585 Usb first station 1PE1 inter the Log and total I made 23 Q´s this day last station this day France 14SD/SUI on 1943 Utc. Day:5 “THE LAST DAY”: Only 2 station in log Italia and France before leaving the hotel, propagation very bad this day with S7 Noise on all band, so this is the real life!!! All stuff packed down for travel home, after many ours of waiting in Split airport 8 the Flight was delayed aarrgghh…. We arrived safe home to my house and much garden work hi-hi.
