located in southwestern Slovakia, stretching into northeastern Hungary
(Csallóköz). Extending from Bratislava to Komárno. It lies between the
Danube and its tributary Little Danube and is a major part of the Danubian Flat. itný Ostrov is the biggest river island in Europe
