Story 47DX/FY024 Helnaes isl. Story from 47DX/FY024 activity held during August 2009. Hello DX´ers Because of very bad propagation the story this time will be very short. I arrived at Helnaes and was ready to TX around 7:30 UTC and in short time I logged 4 stations from 47 division. After that, every thing went very slow, also propagation. Signals only came in with much QSB and in short bursts. After 4 hour CQing the generator ran out of gasoline and instead of refilling I decided to stop the activation. Only 10 stations were logged. Because Helnaes Island was new one, I was a little disappointed, and I quickly took the decision to go back to Helnaes as soon as possible. The announcement will be very close to activation, if a day shows up with good condx, I will leave home at once and go there, so stay tuned. Vy 73´s 47DX054 Leif return
