![]() Welcome to the information page of 108QT/OL002. This is a unique opportunity that a good friend of the Delta Xray Radio Club gives to the 11m band community, activating one of the rarest IOTAs in the UK, St. Kilda island EU-059. St. Kilda is the British remotest inhabited island, and it is only accessible by boat as it lies 64 Km North-West from North Uist island in Scotland. As a fact, there is no telephone on St. Kilda, and of course no internet, but there is a pub!...oops unluckily now closed... Do not hesitate to contact this super-rare activity, as it may not happen again in many years. DXRC will give full support on this one, treating it as it was an own activation. We wish the best of luck to contact it, as propagation up there is very difficult! As an added note, the actual QTH is surrounded by a 1200ft sea cliff - this combined with likely poor HF condx contribute to the rarity. This page is mainly made to offer log-search, and general information. Find Kilda Island on Islands Base Online.
