Story 13DX/BY026 Story from 13DX/BY026 activity. That was an activation of two islands in the river Regnitz. The first island this morning was the Woehrmuehlen Island. Location: The island is very close to the A73 motorway, which was a high noise level. On the Wöhrmühlen island: is a water mill, a campground, (is closed at this time) and a club house of the Wildlife Protection Society of Germany. What exploit, it was not easy to find a person to legally reside in the island. We want to say thank you for this opportunity to the Wildlife Protection Society of Germany which allowed us to build our antennas on their territory. Daniel wanted to test this time his Skypper antenna height to 11 meters above ground. So we could hear some signals, which were very weak with 2 antennas. As the QRM, was too strong, we decided to stop the activation and to go to eat at a nearby bakery shop. When we came back it was the same. High noise and QRM and we think, to finish the activation to this iWi, and the log has been closed. The conditions were not very good on this morning but in the end we have 39 stations in the log.
