Story 13DX/BY033

Story from 13DX/BY033 activity.

Hello from our the next iWi activity

Greienmuehle Island
River: Aisch

First we have to give our thanks to the owners of
Greienmühle it's a wonderful man, he not only allowed to
enter the island Greienmuehle, I could also visit the
building, the generator room and upstairs to the roof
hatch to some photos of the height to make.

The first pile-up was very strong, the signals were above 9. Soren called via telephone and informed us
that several stations use the same frequency of 27 530, so we switched to 27 590. Everything was good for
an hour, Suddenly a stupid operator came to 590 and he said that we make noise up to 27 640 MHz. And
if he can not talk to his friend at 27 605 Mhz then it is used on our frequency and disturbs us. The signal
5-9 + + + forced us to switch back., Partly because he wanted no reason to agree with us. We suspect
France near the German border, he (We are a big gun? LOL) spoke German with French accent. Now, we
searched for a clear frequency for us and that was 27530Mhz for the rest of the activation. I thought so,
there's one thing not seen since the early times of CB. But as you can read here, it is still reality.

But now back to the topic, The difference to the last activation of Dachsbach, you remember, we had to
constantly turn the antenna, the signals disappeared after 2 or 3 qso's. The conditions were not the best
today. But the weather was very nice 19 ° C with sunshine and blue sky. Daniel stretched a tarpaulin on to
protect us from the sun.

The result of the day 66 log entries.
Divisions worked: 1,3,13,14,18,19,26,30,31,35,47,93,161,173,328.

Thank you for your calls, we hear you again on the next island.
Stay tuned
