Story 13DX/O-013 Story from 13DX/O-013 activity. Wednesday 1st June at 8 pm Ute XYL 083 & Didi 083(Mr.Beam) meet at 13DX056 Uli’s home. Thursday 2. june 6 am we (13BRC083+Ute 13DX056 Uli+Rita) pik Wolf 014 on entrance to highway A38 and drove to Usedom Island, arrival time was around 12:30. After visiting the Camping place we got the keys for the rented small “Finhütten” . Our wives were very much frightened, when they saw the very small little houses. Restaurant at the place it reconciled again something. 2 pm we put up the 2 elem.Moxon (made by Mr.Beam) antenna we did also set up 2 radios ICOM 706 MK II -Alinco DX 77 and computer with access to the internet . The internet access was good but only Surfstick from T1 working here, after testing the setup we worked some stations that evening. Dieter grills original “Thüringer Rostbratwürste” for us and a nice first BBQ going on with good local beer (Lübzer Pils). 3 june more stations in the log, propacation was very good, highest signal came from our old friend 26AT102 Keith 5-9 +40 thx, we produce a nice video but not for commercial only for the team, Keith hihi.
