Hi dear radio friends, After a fail attempt to reach EU-156 Tombelaine island, we decide to choose another target,returning to the cars and checking our possibilities with our laptop and gsm . West of our location, we did find an opportunity to active EU-157 Cézembre island . After 1 hour driving we finally arrive on St Malo Sea port, next step will be to get someone bringing us on the island, after a few try in some boat shop, we finally managed to get someone agreeing to bring us on the island . 2 hours before we were crying about our EU-156 fail attempt, and now the team was on way . After installing the tent and antennas 14DX/EU157 is on the air, weather is not too bad, propagation giving some nice signal in B/S . On Sunday morning we’re getting a nice weather, conditions are not so good, but we will manage to log some stations like 153SD777 Jan, 173AT 127 Cyril, 172AT101 Philippe, 172AT114 Yves . B/S conditions are not at the best Mixing the activity with some lunch / drinks and little walk on the beach, we do found some ammunitions and old coins in the sand, Cezembre island had been hit by heavy bombing during WW2. Lots of fight took place on the island . At the end of the afternoon we finally dismount all the equipment, waiting our boatman to return to seaport.
