Story 1DX/LOM008 Story from 1DX/LOM008 activity. Since my first days of presence in DXRC group i was looking to be active from an island here in Italy. With the help of Google Earth I found the Island of San Biagio located in the Lake of Garda, the biggest lake in Italy. So I have contacted the island's owner and he has allowed me to reach, with his boat, San Biagio Island early in the morning(8:00utc). Was a sunny day and after Bamby antenna was set up I have logged immediatly our friend Darran 26DX047 and a lot of island hunters. The propagation been fantastic and I have finished the activity at 14:00utc with 115 QSOs done. For me was a pleasure to be active from this Island, first iwi's activity from Lake of Garda on 11 meters band. I hope to be active soon from others one ;) Ciao! 73's de Alberto 1DX411 return
