Activation Status:
Regarding proofs, Thanet island is not an island in traditional sense.
Islands tends to have water all around, however this is not the case for
Thanet island.

As there is no ferry nor bridge to Thanet island, the team has no factual
proofs for the presense at the island.

It is expected that the team will be back at Thanet during summer 2009. For
this activation the team will takes photos of roadsigns from the area, video
etc.

See more about Thanet island at Wikipedia.com

Notice that Thanet island is an island based on standard HAM-rules
( RSGB-rules where the Isle of Great Britain qualifies for EU-005 ) and therefore
also accepted as an island for DXRC.
