47DX002/PI - Peberholm Island

47DX002 Soren managed to activate this island while travelling home from a business trip to
Sweden.

Peberholm island ( Pepper Islet ) is a man-made island which is located south of Saltholm
island ( SJ-003 ). The East side of the island is connected to Sweden via the Oresund bridge
and the west side of the island is connected to Denmark via the Oresund tunnel.

At the picture up-right you see Peberholm (to the right) and Saltholm (to the left).
The picture is taken from North-West (pointing South-East) and shows Peberholm and
the bridge to Sweden.


NOTICE: For DXRC awards (and expected most other 11-meter clubs awards following the
HAM-words rules for islands) this contacts to this island will not count as valid island contacts
because the island is man-made.
According to rules from the HAM-world only natural islands will count for awards.

Therefore contact to 47DX002/PI will not count for island awards in order to achieve DXRC island
awards.
