Story 47DX/SJ007 Story from 47DX/SJ007 activity held during June 2008. Hello DXers The idea was to support the fantastic idea of an Islands Weekend, that was the our reason to visit Nekseloe Island. As far as we know it was the first time that Nekseloe was activated on 11 meter. It is not allowed to be on the island overnight, so we had to take the first ferry at 08:35 utc, and then return with the last ferry home at 15:00. We could not have our car on the ferry, because it is not allowed to do that. So we had a small bucket on wheels :-) which we had to pull and push up to our location. It was really hard work for us :-) The propagation was very bad, and the weather was very stormy, but we manage to work 20 stations before we had to take down the antenna.
